Purpose
Elmhurst University has instituted policies to govern the behaviors, activities and standards required of Elmhurst University assets. While these policies are designed to be implemented without exception, there may be special circumstances where enforcement of a policy introduces unacceptable risk to the organization, inherently violates other policies or otherwise introduces highly undesirable impact. Where absolutely necessary, exceptions to policies may be granted. The Policies and Procedures policy requires that all exceptions to policies be reviewed, documented and approved.
