Update or Reset Password

Update/Change Password

Follow these steps if you know your current myElmhurst Portal password, and if you want to change it. If you don't know your current password, you will need to reset it.

  • Click on the "Update Password" button.

  • Click the "Edit Profile" Button: 
     
  • You may be asked to verify your password: 
     
  • Enter your current password (1), your new password (2), and confirm your new password (3): 

Employee Password Requirements:

  • 14 character minimum length
  • At least one upper case letter, lower case letter, number, and symbol
  • Must not contain part of your eNumber
  • Must not contain your first or last name
  • Must not be a previous password
  • Must be changed at least once every 365 days

Remember to "forget" and reconnect to the wireless network with all your devices after any password changes are made.


Reset Password

Follow these steps if you do not know your current myElmhurst Portal or Office 365 email password. You can request a reset link to be sent to your email addresses (primary and secondary).

  • Click on the "Reset Password" button.

  • Enter your Email or Username (eNumber) and select either Reset via SMS (Text) or Reset via Email:  

A message will be sent to your email addresses (primary and secondary), instructing you on the next steps. SMS (Text) will only work if you have a mobile number attached to your account.

Remember to "forget" and reconnect to the wireless network with all your devices after any password changes are made.
