Personal computers and mobile devices can be connected to the Bluejay Wireless network. Enter your eNumber and password to connect, and select the option to trust the network's certificate if prompted. These instructions will help you connect Android devices and Chromebooks. For assistance with connecting other devices, click here.
Connection Instructions
If you are connecting an Android device or a Chromebook, you may need to enter additional information.
Your device may or may not prompt for all of these settings. If it does, enter the following:
- Select EAP as the security method, if applicable.
- EAP method: PEAP
- Phase 2 Authentication: None or MSCHAPV2 (if None is not available)
- CA Certificate: Don't Validate or Use system Certificate (If Don't validate is not available)
-You may be asked about certificate trust as well. Select "Trust after first use" if it's an option.
- Online Certificate Status: Do not validate
- Domain: Leave blank if it lets you. If it requires something in the field, use elmhurst.edu
- Privacy: Use Device MAC
- Identity or User: Your eNumber
- Anonymous Identity: Leave blank
- Password: Your portal password
- Select Auto Reconnect, if applicable, before selecting Connect.
